I reside on the unceded lands of the Dena people of the Lower Tanana River in Fairbanks, Alaska. I was born and raised on the traditional lands of the Tewa people, O’gah’poh geh Owingeh (White Shell Water Place), or Santa Fe, New Mexico.
I aim to produce films that showcase the depth of Alaska, by holding space for storytellers to express their vision to an audience of their choosing.
As a producer intimate with making films in the North, I connect industry to place and community. I support filmmakers to achieve their visions, while enhancing the education and experience of the University students I teach.
Since 2000, I have been working in media and film production in the Great State of Alaska. As a faculty member at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, my film productions are always connected to the educational mission of our Film and Performing Arts B.A. program. While I produce these film projects, my students have gained excellent experiences of working with professional crews on a live film set.
